6.26.2017 City Council Meeting

Summary

A fairly robust consent agenda full of moving money and accepting grants. That said, I expect council to keep it moving since their meeting day starts at 3PM with a joint compact meeting followed by the 4PM informal meeting and 6PM formal meeting. There is one resolution that will amend the rules of procedure to exempt appropriations from committee referral unless they are part of the capital budget. The continued consent agenda has an interesting resolution that is basically council asserting that they oppose the federal government budget and want more local funding included.
