"Nothing will change in what I am doing today, because I will continue to attend the school board meetings, council meetings, and speaking on behalf of parents and teachers. I am a parent who have two small boys in Richmond Public Schools. I graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and several of Richmond Colleges. I retired from the military two years ago, and my focus is to ensure our children receive quality education. This is not a stepping stone for political gain, but a personal investment in our children's education.

I will continue to work with the Richmond Public Schools as I have for the last 7 years.  I have been a Carver Promise Mentor for 6 years, and I was a candidate in the 2012 election. Today, I do not see myself with a different agenda, but a MISSION. As you can see an election does not change my passion for Richmond Public Schools. I am a living example, who has walked in the same shoes as these children, and I will not give up on them. It is my time to give back, because I know Education = Success."
