One Question with... Kristen Larson

I ASKED THE CANDIDATES FOR EVERY RACE IN EVERY DISTRICT ACROSS THE CITY, "WHAT WILL YOU DO IF YOU DO NOT WIN YOUR RACE ON NOVEMBER 8TH?"

Kristen Larson is running for City Council in the 4th District. She moved to Richmond in 2005. Three years after becoming a Richmonder, she jumped into the world of Richmond Public Schools. She served on the board of Patrick Henry School of Science and Arts (Virginia's first charter elementary school), acted as the school's spokesperson, and won a 5-way race for her 4th District School Board seat in 2012, which she has held these past 4 years. Currently, Kristin is a member of the City of Richmond Early Childhood Action Team, co-chair of the RPS Facilities Committee and Board Liaison to the Greater Richmond Chamber.

"If I am not elected on November 8th, I plan to continue to serve my community just like I've done since before I was elected to school board in 2012.  I believe Richmond is in an amazing place with incredible potential and I plan to continue to be part of the positive movement to continue to support to positive growth in our city."
