I ASKED THE CANDIDATES FOR EVERY RACE IN EVERY DISTRICT ACROSS THE CITY, "WHAT WILL YOU DO IF YOU DO NOT WIN YOUR RACE ON NOVEMBER 8TH?"
My goal is and will always be to ensure every child in Richmond has a ladder to success through access to quality public education. I look forward to expanding my role with Impact 100, which seeks to improve the lives of women and their families by investing in local non-profits. I have also been so impressed by the work of our community organizations like Building a Better RPS, the RPS Foundation, and the TeeJay Vikings Fund and have already engaged these organizations in conversations about how I can can champion their causes, whether or not I am elected. Our teachers, parents, and children matter too much to sit on the sidelines.
